Interception of telecommunications - Draft Council Resolution on new technologies (revised version of REV 2)...This was intended to be the final version of the revised "Requirements" to include the "new technologies". Although discussed in March 1999 it has not yet been adopted. This is partly due to the complex discussions ... also partly due to acknowledged "negative" media coverage The delay in adopting the revised "Requirements" has not stopped EU member states, like the UK, ameding their interception of telecommunications laws to include the "Requirements"
